Color Transfers

Color transfers are used to transfer logos and graphic designs from a graphic design program to a paper or synthetic medium, for use in signage, packaging, product prototypes & comps, props, labels, models, jars, cans, bottles, and tubes. Logos and graphics are used to associate brands with products in the consumer's mind.

Color Transfers are also known as dry transfers, rubdowns, ruboffs, chromatecs, INTs and letrasets. Color transfers are created when we print a logo and a graphic design to a transfer paper and then burnish down to transfer the logo and graphics to various media, such as wood, metal, and plastic.

Color transfers are often used to create realistic prototypes, comps and props. Ambient Graphics has been creating color transfers for the last 26 years. They have been used for many applications, including lettering for exhibits, package design and prototyping and labeling. With our transfers, you can make things look so real, you will have a hard time telling the difference.

At Ambient Graphics, we create color transfers that can be applied to any shape or surface. Our color transfers are exceptionally clear, durable, and easily applicable. We can create color transfers in opaque or transparent colors, foils, metallics, and fluorescents. Send us a digital file containing your logo or graphic design, as well as the layout, via FTP or e-mail. We accept files created on Apple Macintosh and IBM computers. We can also work with film negatives. Send us a sample if you want us to work on a tricky surface.

If you send us your design and layouts by noon, we can send you the finished product the same day. If the design or layouts reach us after noon , you will receive the finished product the next day. You can reach us via phone or fax, in case of a query.
